 laura i have a picture like that it was on the front of the cover of cowboy times made at rockdale tex and everyone says you did hit that barrel didn't you NO i didn't my mare was awsome,sure wish i had her now.don't ya just love those pictures? my husband took it and had it really blown op and put in glass and frame and hangs in my living room still :yes:

I do not know...she was a heck of a hand...i admired her as a kid!  I wanted to do everything she could do, and momma
could do, cuz they could do every event! <NOT WORTHY> <NOT WORTHY>

So did I.  She was the most cool.  Both my brothers were bull riders in what was then the IRA and her and Carol Goosetree always ran together, but I thought she was so cool because I was such a tom boy and I remember her last riding broncs when she was about 6 mos pregnant with her little boy.

    hey i wasn't young in the 80's just bought a good horse and had to haul,i had so much fun,had a friend tell me to go pro but i had 2 kids and just couldn't do it but i ran around texas,okl.ark.la.  that was plenty for me

I remember "scratchy" too....but yes, the sorrel was in the 80's....and sis Kathy rode the grey horse in the 80's too.
