Prayers for George Woods

Please pray for my father, George Woods.  He had been diagnosed with cancer and is currently in the hospital.   He will be receiving his first chemo treatment on Tuesday.  His prognosis is not very good.  The doctors have told us that the chemo will not cure the cancer, but only prolong his life for awhile.  My family would really appreciate all of your prayers.  Thank you!

Keep the faith - Doctors are not always right  - they told my 42 yr old brother they couldn't help him, just prolong and he went into remission and made his 5 yrs. Thanks to everyone for your prayers.  My dad has had his first chemo treatment on Wednesday, Jan. 7th.  It was a little later than we had originally thought.  He is doing as well as can be expected.  He is already in stage 4, with the cancer being in his lungs, liver and bone.  His prognosis was 2 months, we are just taking it one day at a time.  He spent 29 days in the hospital and rehab, not a happy camper!!!  He is now home with me.  Right now we are just trying to avoid any infections so that we can continue with the chemo treatments.  Once again thanks for your thoughts and prayers.
