i know but we are trying to save up for a truck so that is holding me back and plus finding a baby sitter for the twins for that weekend. so we shall see.

That's what I'm planning to do that weekend...

Funny thing is... The more that I look at the calender the more 4D runs I'm seeing... Hmm... Looks like I'm going to have to find a solid workout plan for Mysty!

Well she's been so sore... Partially because of new shoes... partially because of me not being able to use her regular pad b/c of rainrot... partially because of a 3+ hour trail ride...

So I gave her last week off to get over herself...

And ponying her today she really seemed to enjoy it.  So I guess Maverick is her new workout partner.  Think if I pony her two or three times a week it'll be enough?  She's solidly broke to ride and pretty auto on barrels for me, so I'm not worried about tuning at all.

i see....

tomorrow my friends are suppose to be coming over after lunch (i have their daughters mare) their daughter is suppose to be coming to rider her mare then they may be bringing her back home. so i may get to ride too!

I wish I could still ride Mysty because it's just a matter of "point and click" riding... But... Her age has made her stiffer and rougher when you first get started for about the first 15 minutes... Doesn't matter what suppliment or injection I have her on.  It's not bad enough that it's just hurting her and me, but I can tell my 4 yo and 6yo have better 'shocks' than her.

I think I'm going to 1 run in January, 2 in February (maybe), and it's looking like 4 in March right now... Maybe 7, but we'll see.

wow! right now i am running Jan. 18th (NBHA), Feb. 1st (NBHA), Feb. 20th & 22nd (Lance Graves 5D), March 14th (our little playday for the year starts) that is what i have for now.

Feb 7 - NBHA
Feb 23 - MAYBE... Just depends on class and stuff...
March 8 - ABRA blowout... would ride on the 7th, but have to attend class
March 14-15 - NBHA State Show
March 21st -ish - WBR
March 28 - Supershow weekend NBHA

After that I'm not sure... It just depends on what's got added money close to home... I will be starting to run Southeast shows with Maverick and Sable after that point, so... It'll just depend.

I wonder how many times a week I need to pony her to keep her legged up... Hmm... ???  ???

i would say if you can do that at least twice a week...not sure though because i can't even keep mine legged up twice a week. very frustrating for me. wish i had some help setting my barn up for the twins...

I'm just torn on it... But Sable will be headed to a trainers soon for 30 days... So I'll have more time on my hands to work with Maverick individually as well as ponying her... I just gotta schedule my time to MAKE myself do it...

I don't have babies just yet...  Find myself wanting them more and more, but don't have them just yet.
