Good luck and congrats to everyone !! mine is 15 months and she weighed 9.3 lbs when she was born and I of course had a c-section !!

'scuse me while I pick myself up off the floor -- Rafter 3 that's alotta baby  :)/\\

Dina - I'm doing my best!

Honestly - I've been thinking about not finding out. At first I was all about it, wanted to know as soon as we could find out. Now I'm sort of torn. I think its awesome that we have the technology to find out...but now I'm not sure if I want to know. Its one of those deals where once the cat's out of the bag you cant put it back in.  I've talked with Brad about it and he said he's fine waiting until the baby gets here but said its totally up to me. Thanks --  no pressure there   :ROFL2:

Ok Whit I have a kinda cool story about this and thought I would tell you here.

These friends of our went in for their ultrasound and told the tech that they wanted her to check the sex of the baby but not to tell them.  They had her write in on a car and put it in a envelope.  They went to Dillards shopping and picked out a newborn girl outfit and newboy boy outfit.  They took both to the clerk along with the envelope, told her to open it after they left and wrap the right outfit in neutral paper.  Then went back and got the package and opened with both of their Family at Christmas.  So they ALLL found out together!!   :)/\\  I thought that was just too cool!  It was a boy of course!!

Thanks now I'm  >CRYING EYES OUT<   -- that is so sweet!! My March appt will be when they can tell...unless Butter Bean is shy. Maybe I could do that and wrap it up as a birthday present for myself!  ;)

Sorry I wasn't more careful with you Emotions!!   ;)  I think it would be a good Bday gift all wrapped up!!  My thoughts...........it is much easier to plan, decorate, and shop when you know what you are having.   I am just not much on buying Yellows and Greens for a new baby!!  LOL

On our first, my husband didn't want to know. Needless to say he was the only one that didn't know. I never told him, and kept all of the "pink girly" stuff at my mom's. He didn't find out till in the dellivery room. He says that there are very few "real surprises" in life and he just wanted to be surprised. He did choose to find out on this one - and I think that was only because we had to go into the specialist due to the bloodwork that came back. Though the picture was really grainy and hard to see, the doctor says it's a girl. But I still think there is room for error on the picture.  ??? I have a follow up ultrasound next Wednesday, so I will be 2 weeks further along and we will confirm. Of course, my nephew was a girl each time they checked and SURPRISE....a boy on delivery day.  :ROFL2:
See you at the Race! God Bless.

Well, Whit....I think I would be all about surprises.....I mean, heck, even if it's a girl, you think she wouldn't be a little ranch hand?  She'll be ok in blue!  :ROFL2: :ROFL2: :ROFL2:  Of course, I couldn't see the little boy in pink...but that would go right along with "tough enough to wear pink" since he's going to be a rodeo kid!   :ROFL2: :ROFL2: :ROFL2:

Cody--that's a cool story!  Very sweet!!  Pretty darn creative to say the least!

I just can't wait to see Whit in the "maternity--oh my gosh I'm really pregnant tops!"  It's still seems odd to me!  "Pug" better enjoy the retirement because we KNOOOOOW if there's a little barrel racer coming into the family, he's just gonna have to start running again!  That is after she breaks "Ole Ben" in!!!!

Dina - you should see Ben -- he looks better than he has in years! We've got an 'in' with some of the best round hay I've ever seen. Ben, Pug & Reno are fat, slick & shiny! I was just telling Cody today that its unbelievable how toned Pug looks even though he's turned out and barefoot. Its a good thing I'm preg or I'd be whispering to him that we really should be hauling!!  >angel<

I have a sneaking suspicion that if baby B ends up being a girl that she'll tame that old firebreathin sorrel of mine :)/\\  I get tickled at Ben, I swear he knows. He's not much of a lap-dog type but he's all about my belly lately. I guess when they've known you for 25 years they know when something's up.

Wow - for one to know and not let it slip! That took some effort! I like his thought process on there being few real surprises, very true. I bet that was a shock on your nephew's bday! Did they have a boy name in mind just in case? That would be my luck, be all set for one and it end up being the other  :ROFL2:  ACK -- decisions decisions!!

Ohhh....don't say that!  I'm finally set on having another girl!  I'll be having another ultrasound on the 16th at a specialist in Ft Worth since they can't see the cord clearly in the other ones.  I'll be about 28 weeks by then so I hope they confirm that it's a girl.  I'll have to change a lot of things if we are having a boy.  =0)

Well here is the update.......Raelee will be here on Monday.  I have another appt on Friday to see how she will come into this world.  If I am dialated a little bit more than she will induce me but if not we will take her by c-section.  The doctor is worried about scar tissue from previous surgeries.

I heard that when they look to see the gender of the baby, that when they say its a girl, you have a 50-50% chance of it being a girl. But when they say your having a boy, you have like a 90% chance or higher that it will be a boy.

Here is a gender predictor chart, I found it using yahoo. Not sure how accurate it is. But thought it was neat. They had a bunch of other gender predictor charts as well, just yahoo them and you'll get a bunch. Some use the age of the momma to be and the month you conceived. And others use more detail questions.

I'm not expecting, but can't wait to see all the new babies!!! Best wishes everyone! Congrats!

Sending good vibes your way!! Happy early bday Miss Raelee  :* Cant wait to see baby pics!

Our appt today was very exciting -- got to hear the heartbeat for the first time. Wow -- talk about time standing still, I could listen to that all day. Heartrate was right at 160 (anything between 140-180 is normal) and all my stuff was right on target.
