Yes that's him...I picked him that night that we left...I had left him with Jackie to ride for a couple of weeks
because I didn't have time here---too many here to ride my own and I wanted someone to stay on his back.
I think Speedy may be my next real big winner that I train...
He is by Streakaway Cash (si99) that is a son of Runaway Winner (si104) by Beduino (inducted in aqha hall of fame--carries the large heart gene)
Streakaway Cash's mother is Dashs Dream (winner of the All American Futurity--si113) who is a daughter of Dash for Cash. Dash's Dream's mother is
Southern Streaker (si93 winner of $103,000---this mare is also the grandmother to the famed Dashing Dillon of Kassie Mowrey's)...that's just the top side.
On the bottom...Speedy's mother is a cutting horse---mother is Chiquita Azulborrego who has 89 cutting points in aqha...by Docs Borrego which is a 7/8th's brother to Dry Doc and DocOLena...Docs Borrego is of course by Doc Bar.
Should have plenty of run....plenty of turn...I'm looking forward to training this one this year. I had debated about selling him off and on simply
because of time factors but I really like this colt alot and see a huge future! I'm not in a rush with him now, just piddle when I can and in between
other horses, but maybe by summer we will be loping a pattern.
