Just a reminder of who you are.
« on: January 26, 2009, 07:22:11 AM »
I have been very alarmed at some of the things that I am hearing coming out of the mouth of our new president, whether they are meant light heartedly or not, they are alarming.   I am hammering hard on my Rep and Senators on how they should be voting in their positions.

So I thought this email was a refreshing reminder this morning.....

'Those who hammer their guns into plows will plow for those who do not.'

~ Thomas Jefferson

17.  911:  Government sponsored Dial-a-Prayer.

18.  Assault is a behavior, not a device.

19.  Criminals love gun control; it makes their jobs safer.

20.  If guns cause crime, then matches cause arson.

21.  Only a government that is afraid of its citizens tries to control them.

22.  You have only the rights you are willing to fight for.

23.  Enforce the gun control laws we ALREADY have; don't make more.

24.  When you remove the people's right to bear arms, you create slaves.

Let us be reminded of what Captain John Parker told his army at Lexington Green, the place where the War for Independence began in 1775. He said, “Stand your ground. Don’t fire unless fired upon, but if they mean to have a war, let it begin here.
