Colon wall is still appear to be ok.. no leaking or ripped yet. Passed a small amount of poop and a large amount of gas about an hour ago. still candidate for surgery.  Vet says not ready for that yet and he wouldnt consider putting him down right now after that poop he did. Levi is in better spirits now since i am here. Vet sayds not nearly as depressed and he can see it had helped him alot. Hemo is good. Gum color is good. Ten liters of iv fluid. Standing good right now..pray for the intestine wall to stay strong enough he right pass this.. its on the right and he likes me to rub there

About ten minutes ago we got another sign of hope. He pooped another small little bit!! Ill take that and be happy!! Comon levi!! Let's do this together--i will keep rubbing your belly and u keep trying!! I need his intestinal wall to stay intact right now. Its been under so much pressure we are watching it closely. No tears we know of right now. Hemo is good. Standing good right now and has had ten liters of fluids. Every pain med available too. He is kinda trying to perk up and asked me for one of my french fries earlier. Lol. I did think that was funny under the circumstances. We are far from outof the woods but the signs that his intestine has not shut completely down are good news. Elgin is supposed to be ready for us if we need to travel. I did make up my mind this morning he would have to show me he wanted to be here and I believe he has. I did not want him to suffer one more day. I thank you all for your prayers but we can't stop now. This horse will be saved thru the power of prayer--i just know it!!

No clue the cause. Dr dan says most likely weather related. One day 80 degrees, one day freezing out. No feed change. Nothing new. Just flat out a colic.
