Perhaps some value to a fan or barrel racing collector, but not what I think you might feel it's worth  because of WHO won it. Seems to me unless it was stolen from her, it's only value was what it brought when she sold it. Now it may have a different value because of the brand of saddle it is. But it's only real value is what you paid for it.

I used to own a Price McLaughlin with his initials tooled into the fenders. Word was when I bought it that he'd made it for himself. A collector bought it for about $400 more than I paid, but then I got it for a pretty cheap price considering WHO made that saddle. It sold for a comparable price to other Price's being sold on the web at that time.

Yer we've got a few hey!!! The 'brown snake' is pretty nasty when provoked, but they "usually" just slither on by you.... I will take my camera out to the horses this arvo and get some roo pics for you guys

There are a few places you can look them up and see what they are reselling for. I found one on Ebay, early 2008 model, with a turquoise sting ray seat with a starting bid of $2,800 and a buy it now of $2,999. But with a little bit of hunting you can probably come up with a comparible aged saddle to get an idea of what it's value is. Or at least what someone else thinks it will take for them to part with their saddle. LOL
