Laura doesn't eat veggies that grow above the ground because a dog could have hiked a leg on it. And she only eats egg yolks because that's the furthest part away from a chicken's heinie.


Have I mentioned Laura is a bit "odd"?

and the part about the veggies is right....

If a dog....could have walked by...and casually hiked a leg on it....ummmm....I won't eat it.
So anything that grows ABOVE the ground in hiking range...is pretty much out.  Corn's ok...it grows high.  
Anything under the ground...its safe too.

Laura if you think of it this way.... the shell keeps it safe, if the white touches the chicken's heinie on the way out, there is no chance it will end up on your plate. It's a cracked and therefore ex egg.
