GB this weekend we are having NBHA TX 26 in Liberty on Sat...i missed three of them due to my surgery so i have to make the rest of them so i can qualify for world next year..and liberty is soooooo close to my house!!!

We must be neighbors!!  That was the only thing I found close to me also - I am in Cleveland!  I have never run there, tho my daughter has.  That uphill, long alleyway kinda intimidates me, to be honest!  Never know about the dirt there - we had some nasty ground when we were there for THSRA Reg 9 at the beginning of the year.  I guess standard NBHA rates apply?  $31 for the Open?

Would love to meet a bunch of you all there - we could all wear sandwich boards - "I am MMRANCH", "I am DEBHORSES", "I am GBACRES", etc?

Yup I thought about going to it to see if Deezy likes the pen since I didn't get to run the Easter Rodeo.  I was thinking of going to Edna on Sunday.  Not sure what I'm doing.  Could just wait for New Iberia too!  Hmmm, I went to 2 or 3 and I ain't got no points yet.  I give up.

That's funny - like folks saying to me, "are you Chrissy's mom?".  Gus is, I suppose that beautiful blond in the profile pic with you? 

yeah, running full speed on a downhill grade - now THAT is one to be intimidated about!  Jack bout ran me back to Riverside coming out of the pen at Crockett Sat - like to never got him slowed down.

But I love to challenge myself and him by running at pens we have never been to - kinda my personal thing.

LOL..yes thats him!!! he won me his first buckle on him yesterday!!! i was sooooo happy cuz when i had my shoulder surgery in jan all i wanted to make sure was that i could make the state show and my surgeon said "possiby"!!! i will take and show him my buckle!

Wow, girl, he's a stunner!  You must be so proud!!  What d did ya'll get reserve in?  There is nothing like setting a goal (yours after surgery) AND achieving it AND winning!!  So happy for you, I have goose bumps!!

I ride the flashy sorrel and flaxen paint that is a hot mess - I'll be the girl trying to hang on and not run into everyone!!  lol, he did OK at Crockett, tho, and I am very hopeful about his progress.  I started him on Total Control, Thia-Cal to ease up his anxiety, and cut out dried alfalfa (don't know why I been giving him speed these last few months!). 

Again, congrats to you and Gus!!

Come out and see us Sunday in Edna, this is a nice pen!  There are RV Spots and Stalls just let me know what you need.  Hope to see everyone there.  Remember MRabb is working the ground for us!

we got 2nd in the senior 4d!! i know we slow but who cares...im having fun!

Girl, I have won a ton of stuff in the slower d's!  That money spends just like the higher d's money, and the buckles are just as nice!!  I love running in those d's for several reasons - we have not as much pressure therefore it is more fun, there are not as many competitors in those d's, and when we move up in speed - what a rush!! 

P.S. - I, too, am old, so we will toddle around with our walkers squinting for each other!!  lol!!  What is your name??  If I may be so nosy??

We had a 3D mare that had the gift of landing in the money 9 out of 10 runs.  We found a good home for her as the kids moved up in their ability.  I told my husband as she left our place I bet there goes our most consistent money  earner and (unfortunately) I was right.  She was easy, easy, never hit a barrel and gave you the same run every time.
