OK I cant find this bit. I need to know what it is!!!! I have started the RES Bit Rental. I am very nervous!!! I have the paypal buttons working (as far as I can tell) and I am still working on the bit blog for folks to blog about what the different bits do.......BUT I need to know what this bit is. well its a knock off myler bit with a twisted dog bone mouth piece as the name im not sure as you can pick that up lots of feed store... so ive never seen a name...

Tom Thumb Bit
The iron twist mouth is an excellent tool for softening up the tough or hard mouthed horse. This version has a center dogbone allowing it to break at a different angle for a new sensation. Sweet iron creates a sweet pleasant taste that most horses enjoy.

Shanks: 6", Stainless steel.
Mouth: 5" "sweet-iron" twisted wire snaffle with center dogbone.

it looks like some type of a colt bit but it does not look to balanced to short on top like it might pinch

Why don't you just take that one off the list? I wouldn't think you would want to rent out a bit for people to try unless you could tell them exactly where to purchase it if they decide it works for them.

Hate to disagree, chancey, but the jr cow bit has a slight gag effect because there is a circle where the mouth piece joins onto the shank.

Not sure what it is, tho ...

THIS IS GREAT!!  I wish you well.  I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this bit and if they have used it.

There is one on my site....minus that particular mouth. Personally, gabe ran through it and Joe loved it. Not much lift, but plenty of bend and flex.

My biggest problem is that my mare has not whoa.  We are working on that and she is not real bendy.  We are working on that too.  I am working on slow work right now since I have taken sometime off from barrels.  There is just to much going on at my barn for me to get away much.  Right now I am riding her in one of Sheri's bits.
