I looked at the WBR finals page today and just saw they aren't giving away the 6 trucks this year!  How do they think that one person getting $50,000 is equal to paying out 6 trucks?  I was disappointed.  The chances of one person winning the cash out of that many is SLIM!  I really wanted one of those trucks!  LOL  Not that I would of won it...but I had better chances than just one pot of money!

I'm sad about the trucks too...........:(  I never got the chance to even try to win it................I can understand though.  Hopefully I will even be able to enter the finals..........I know I can't win though if I don't enter.......:)

The entry fees are lower?  wow...what were they last year?  I'm new to the WBR races.  But today I was just sitting here adding up what I have to spend to enter.  Hmmm...you have to become a member, so that's $60 there.  Have to enter at least one other WBR race, so if I enter the other Waco one that is $80 plus $30...so $110 and $60...which is $170....then for the finals...$175 plus $30...so $205, plus the $170, equals $375!!!!  Yikes!!  I'm not sure if I'm a gambling woman enough to pay that much to be in the finals when only one person gets the grand prize.  I was sure thinking about it though with 6 trucks being given out....that was a SWEET deal!  However, I'm a "fall through the cracks" kind of barrel racer so my luck, I'd pay all that money and get nothing either way.

Maybe I should just stick to the small stuff for now. :)

It's $60 to run at Ardmore. Go to that race as your qualifier instead.

HA!  The $20 I'd save in entry fee's would be eaten up by the gas it would cost me to get to Oklahoma!  LOL  Would probably cost me $200 in gas for that trip!  Thanks for the tip but that's not going to help. LOL

Me entered at Ardmore!!!  (passed on Conroe in my backyard) and decided to drive 10 hrs with my hauling partner for a road trip weekend!!!!  That is the weekend my mother would have turned 84 and there is no sense sitting here in the house moping.... ROAD TRIP!!
