At least now the grass might get a little greener. I dug down to see how deep it went. Bout 3 inches before dry dirt. So that'll help somewhat. Sure hope it'll do it again tomorrow...that'd be extremely nice. Ya know....I flooded my garden today, literally. After I fertilized each individual tomato plant, squash plant, pepper plant, and two rows of corn. Hoed it all.....then turned the water on in hopes that the fertilizer will disolve and go where it's supposed to.
I didn't go out to the cow pasture to see how much we got out there. But I sure hope it hit again after the 4/10s we got the other night. That'd be wonderful.
And your so right about the smell of rain. That's one of my all time most favorite smells.
