Whitney, Texas - two red lights, one Dairy Queen, a few churches, a lot of dirty pickups with hay forks on the back, and a very large lake. About half way between Fort Worth and Waco.

I've never actually went to Arlington, but I've been past it. I've went to Hawthore though.
It's cool that there's someone else from IL. <:)

That's ok. I'm from Illinois, and I thought I was the the only one, but I guess PrissyJewelThief is from Illinois too. But you're not alone, all of us show buddies want to move to Texas when we move out. Montana would be cool too. But everyone wants to move to Texas!! <:)

I don't know that Simms has a claim to fame. Other than back in the 80's  & early 90's the 4th of July rodeo was supposed to be quite the social event.

Ok, ya'll are killin me with the drive times to arenas....gotta add ours......

3 hours to Cowtown (Ft Worth Stockyards)
1 hr 15 minutes to Josey Ranch
15 minutes to New Boston RoundUp Club
20 minutes to DeKalb Rodeo Arena
6 hours to OKC
5 hours to Jackson MS
3 hours to Monroe LA
30 minutes (give or take a little) to ITDASH's
45 minutes to CodyH's

Spkm - I guess we were at the last 4th of july shindig about 3 yrs ago... When HL put it on.. I carried the flags and all of my family worked it.....   I know Bobbie and Monty were there...

___________________

30 minutes from Houston
2 minutes from Cleveland
25 minutes from Conroe

okay Ill put this in easier terms for barrelracing4fun and cowgirlsrule87:

north of Houston, Southeast from Conroe,Southwest from Liberty, south of cleveland. Basically in the middle of no-where, but hey, we have a Sonic and a grocery store!

Hey you might have to put it in easier terms for barrelracing4fun but not for me I'm not that slow!!
Well I don't know how long it takes us to get to each arena because mom is always that person that has to be there 3 hours before it starts!!
