I'm sure that there is someone out here on the board that knows of one.
Also, just go out there and do your best! With the way the 4-d and 5-d's are you will be fine!!!  There are alot of new riders out there that they dont donate.

GOOD LUCK!!!!

There are some in Grande Saline if that's not too far.
This came to me while chopping wood the other day. You've heard don't sweat the small stuff. I say save it for later and use it for kindling

Hope you can find one around close to you  TX CN CRSHR.  I'm sure you would do fine in the 4D-or 5D jps and like someone else said, we ALL donate...some more than others!  >:( Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.

TX_CN, I think the Grand Saline thing is at Monks arena on Wednesday nights.  I'm sure its listed somewhere close.  Also, there is a jackpot Sunday afternoon at Terrell Classic Arena.  It's the end of a buckle series BUT, they have exhibitions before the class starts.  Several of us are getting there around 11:30 and riding in the arena.  They start exhibitions somewhere between 12 and 1 depending on how many people are there.  Jackpot starts at 3.  Trust me, there are several of us seasoning colts or trying to get with a new one so you won't be intimidated at all.  Introduce yourself when you get there.  My name is Jackie and I'll be on a bay horse.  Erin will also be on a bay horse, right Erin.

Xtreme Barrel Races also offers the $500 Novice class and our next show is Feb 11 and 12 in Brenham.  I can't remember where Lindale is.  Texas is too big to know all the cities.  FMI see events on this board <COLOR GRIN>

You really shouldn't feel intimidated. The point of the D races is to give everyone a chance to get some money, including those without 1D riding skills or 1D horses.
If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.
