CONSTANT AND CONTINUED PRAYERS FOR PHIL AND CAROL!  The good Lord knows we aren't finished with him yet!  We have sooo many more arenas for him to drag! He will be back up and running in no time.....prayers for a complete and speedy recovery for sure!!!!

Another Update!   Carol told us that the drs have decided to keep Phil on the ventilator a few more days and continue the treatments so he can get a little stronger. It looks like it will now be toward the end of the week before the attempt to remove him from the ventilator. Keep the prayers coming...Phil still has a ways to go...

Thanks Chuck. It appears that his doctors are really on top of this. I have confidence that he can come through this. It just looks like it's gonna be a little longer than they expected. Tell Carol  to keep her chin up.

Went to the hospital yesterday to see Phil, the pulled him off the ventilator. He was still pretty fuzzy and his eyes were still glassed over from the propotol but they expect him to start impoving over the next couple of days. He did recognize me and would acknowledge my questions with a head shake. He is not supposed to try to talk yet. The doctors did say that his heart was messing up and he had what they call A Fib which I think it the top part of his heart not working correctly. They were going to start him on some medication to help correct that situation. The doctor still is saying he is not out of the woods yet so please keep up the prayers. Will update again when I find out how he is doing today

Thanks for the update Chuck we all really appreciate you keeping us up to date on Mr. Goosetree's condition! He is in our prayers as is Carol. Be strong Phil and dang it...do what the doc tells ya to do!!!
