Without any info, I like a jr cowhorse for a horse with a light mouth that needs their rear put under them.

The S hack dont really have that much whoa, it is usually used for seasoned horses with natural rate. My mare is real real real light headed and WILL NOT take a bit. Soooo, we tried every hackamore starting with the lightest one that wouldnt hurt her lke some of the other harsher hacks out there. I would try the Jim Warner hackamore. Our friends call it the Missy hack b/c my horse Missy was doing really good in it, so they tried it on other horses so now they all run in it.  lol It is not a heavy hack, and has medium control. I know that Valley Vet has them for sale for about $50, or they had them for 50 when I bought mine at least!
Dont try and be a bad@$$ over the keyboard.
