she still isnt eating at all.... nothing molassas, honey, nothing.. i dont know what to do.. she isnt drinking water either. i spent 197 yesterday at the vet, the  hubby is laid off work, i dont  have any more money  and dont know where to turn.. im calling the dentist that did her teeth last month at the seminar at the high school rodeo arena, I hope she can help me.. if not, shes going to die, she hasnt eaten in 3 days now

Maybe a dose of probios and some electrolytes are in order. Sounds alot like ulcers to me too. To get her eating again if that's what it is....your gonna hafta treat her with something to calm the ulcers down so that she wants to eat. Can you turn her out in a pasture with grass? Alot of times ulcer horses will still eat grass when they won't touch feed or hay.

I had an older horse who had ulcers.  A vet recommended(now don't laugh) Mylanta!  Try going into a grocery store and getting tow or three bottles of that with out getting funny looks.

 i sure hope she gets better,i'm so glad d.j. is eating.he did go tru a spell when we had to put his best bud down a few weeks ago and that really worried me .he is now eating good,still has days the stuff runs out his nose.
 since i started feeding him the chopped hay it hasn't been so bad.every now and then you still hear him make a funny noise.but he feels good enough to sling his head and run the others out of his space.

sending lots of prayers  i know exactly how you feel.

Just wanted to tell everyone thank you for you prayers.. But, My beautiful Party, died today at 5:02pm.. She didnt suffer long, we couldnt find a vet to come out to put her to sleep.. we called 7.. and i mean 7 mobile vets and not ONE of them could make it out to help me and my horse.  She laid on the road and suffered until she finally gave up.  Lynda, my daughter, my hubby, and my mom and next door neighbor was there with her.  It was the most horrible thing I had to go through.  But, I know Party knew I was there for her, and that I love her.   R.I.P. MY PLAY PARTY... She would have been 34 on April 20 !!.... My heart is aching so bad, dont know how to go on... I LOVE YOU PARTY!!..

I'm so very sorry  for your loss....Prayers that the Good Lord will hold you close and comfort you and your family in this time of saddness.
It is so heart breaking to lose a beloved best friend, but know in peace that your beautiful Party is running in eternal green pastures and

I am so very sorry for your loss and the circumstances surrounding it. Just keep in mind that she is not suffering anymore and that you did the best by her that you could. How blessed you both were to spend so may years together. :*(
