I'm really lovin this project too. And am enjoying you posting 'as you go' pictures. I still think tho...that you'll have so much time invested in it, and it's gonna look sooooo good when you finish that your gonna hafta make a place for it in your own home. ;)

I decided you guys were right no Barbed wire in the legs. I had to make a design change cause I got in a hurry and instead of getting a smaller bit I thought I could judge where I was routing. Well I couldn't. I don't know if you can see the difference or not it is on the inside of the circle. The is no ogee there anymore. The first picture is with the second without
This came to me while chopping wood the other day. You've heard don't sweat the small stuff. I say save it for later and use it for kindling

I am thinking of adding this design to the front of the dresser drawers. Tamet says it doesn't match and is too much I should leave them alone. I think the are too plain it needs something. I didn't finish the design so only the right half is the part I am thinking of. I would flip it over and put the same design on the left

Well thanks everyone for the input. Not one person like the idea so I am not going to do it

Maybe just get some star drawer pulls to pick up the star pattern from the sides. I think that'd really look nice.

I have decided to put barbed wire on the drawer fronts. So that is going to add more time.

I am thoroughly impressed.  I do some painting & refinishing.  It takes a lot longer than a lot of people realize.  You have a real artistic hand.

Bob, this piece is going to be hard to top!!  Wonderful job!!!  Really do like the barbed wire on the drawers.
