I like the barb wire on the front cause it matched the barb wire that is around the star on the side. Cant wait to see the finished product.

This came to me while chopping wood the other day. You've heard don't sweat the small stuff. I say save it for later and use it for kindling

Now I either have to wait till the knobs get here or Make some plugs for the holes for the pulls. The holes are 1/4 inch and Mark doesn't know what size the end of the know is may be 1/4 inch or less

Bob have you thought about either staining or painting the grooves darker, and the body of the dresser just a tad lighter so that it stands out. The barbedwire along with the routered out part around the star? Just a suggestion...that way all of your hard work doesn't get lost in just one color of stain.

Yes I have thought about it I am trying to decide if I want to glaze it or not right now. That is what glazing does makes the carvings and edges darker. The problem is I haven't glazed in over 15 years and a bad glaze job ruins the piece. A good one makes it worth more.
I am thinking of doing a little playing while I wait for the knobs.
