WOW!!.. I just had a panel pen donated for our jackpot on saturday.. so I guess we will have a silent auction?? or maybe sell tickets for it?  suggestions??  And thank you to Buds Town for the donation!!

awwee there is Gumbo!!... I need to come see the dogs....... Especially Gumbo.. I just love his face!!...........LOL......OK , Tomorrow is the big day.. and I have had lots of calls... We are hoping for a huge crowd.. I got some extra people to help work.. so us 4 wont be running ourselves crazy.... I will be there by 830am..... so come on out early !!.....

These are the placings in our jackpot.. We had 170 exhibitions and 114 in the class!!.. Awesome turnout... Ran on time.. Went very well...Thanks again to Flynn and Rhonda for donating 1/2 of the added money.  We had two sponsers Bud's Town in LaJunta.. who donated the 4 panels.. that were auctioned off at the silent auction.. and Springtown Feed sponsered us as well... Thanks again for your support, and we are looking forward to next year being even bigger and better !!

I'm confused!  Don't know much about barrel racing other than the photographer is only supposed to shoot barrel #2 (who makes these rules, lol?).

I could swear there were several 13 second runs.  Is there a handicap system or something?

I didn't see any 13 second runs. 

Most photographers that do barrel racing will shoot the 2nd barrel because it offers the best angle for a picture.  The bad thing is that of you run a lefty most pictures aren't all that good.
