I was wondering if putting rims on the front and regular shoes on the back is a good ideal? That is the way I was told by someone in order for the horse to grip with his front feet. I was also told to not put rims on the rear because it would cause hock injuries. Any advice would be great.
Thanks,
Sheila
The person giving you advice was right on target – we use rims in front and regulars behind.
