barrel racing horses and there riders
« on: February 27, 2011, 07:25:50 PM »

hey guys i just wanted to ask a few questions about u nd yalls horses

do u take the credit when you win a race or do u say me and my horse worked as a team :)

what kind of horses do you like to ride the most

do you use a horse joint supplement for your horses

do you think is necessary to ride with boots on ( the horse boots not cowgirl/boy boots)

what got u started in barrel racing

do u do any other sports

and thats about it its just a few i wanna see how other people ride cause i dont go to races alot and all the girls that go have there horses all jeweled up and bling bling ... ( i honestly dont think thats necessary im just say not to hurt any bodys feelings just saying its my opinion about all the glittery pony's out there)

pls comment back :) i just wann see how other people r with there horses

When we do good in a race I say my horse kicked butt. She's the one running, I just give her a push ;)

What do you mean kind? Breed or personality?

I don't use a joint supplement at the moment but I need to put my mare on one. She's getting to that age.

I think it depends on the horse and what your doing if you use boots or not. I have a friend who puts them on one horse, but not on the other because he doesn't run good with them on. He's picky :D

I have always loved the sport, so when I had the chance to learn and do it myself I jumped on it!

I enjoy riding my apendix he is half quarter horse half thourghbred. He is really calm at the gate and gives it his all all the time! He is also very consitent we place in either the 2D or 3D where ever we go!

I do beleive it is nessasary to run with boots on because my barrel prospect clipped his front foot once and he was out for 2 months! But some horses run faster without boots my apendix hates running with hind boots!
