Anyone traveling east or west bound on I 10 near Columbus Tx

If you are traveling on 10 near Columbus Tx, be prepared for possible problems on east & west bound.  A huge fire is near the freeway & smoke is bad.  Be safe.

Aut viam inveniam aut faciam - I will either find a way or make one.  "Can't lives on Won't street."

Let us be reminded of what Captain John Parker told his army at Lexington Green, the place where the War for Independence began in 1775. He said, “Stand your ground. Don’t fire unless fired upon, but if they mean to have a war, let it begin here.

Caldwell County and Bastrop County is on fire......we need prayers....

Pam and I almost evacuated about 1 pm....I know I will be staying up all night, along with my neighbors.  The wind is still blowing....

Winds calmed down, fire is under control for tonight.  I 10 is good.  Just wanted to let anyone now that may be traveling, that there was a potential problem that we wouldn't want to be in with a trailer.  Just hope the wind doesn't kick up & cause it to spread tomorrow.  Seems there are fires in all directions.  Be safe.

Are they still looking for people to get horses out?
"If my particular passion ever kills me, it wont be on the back of my horse. It will be because I was staring out my car window at a horse standing innocently in a field when I should have been paying attention to the road!"
