I didn't start til I was 49, I'm 51 now and having a blast.  I have also been to an Extreme Cowboy Race Clinic and really loved it too.  It involves going over and through all kinds of obstacles.  I did it just to give my barrel horse something else to do.  He really like it.  I want to find some more to go to.

A NICE QUIET RIDE IN THE PASTURE IS NICE.  I LIKE PASTURE RIDING & I THINK IT IS VERY GOOD FOR BARREL HORSES OR ANY KIND OF SHOW HORSES.  STILL LOVES THE BARRELS.  SEVERAL YEARS AGO I HAD A GOOD REINER, POLE, TRAIL HORSE & PLEASURE.  TAM'ET &  DID ALL OF THESE THINGS WHEN SHE WAS YOUNG & I HAD GOOD BARREL HORSES.  FOUR YEARS AGO I LOST A GOOD BARREL HORSE THAT WAS A GOOD TRAIL HORSE.  I THINK THOSE THINGS ARE GOOD FOR THEIR MINDS.  HE HAD LOTS OF BARREL PTS & TRAIL PTS.  I THINK ANYTHING YOU DO WITH HORSES IS GREAT.  NOT EVERYONE IS A BARREL RACER.  HORSES ARE GOOD FOR OUR MINDS.  HOPEFULLY AFTER NEXT WK I WILL BE ABLE TO GET BACK ON MINE.  EVERYONE HAVE A WONDERFUL WKEND.  SELFIE ARE YOU GOING ANYWHERE THIS WK.  "T" HASN'T SAID.   WARS :-\ :D ;)

GIRLS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!!!!!!  I DIDN'T SPELL IT CORRECTLY, SYRG, WHICH I HAD BEEN STARTING WITH A S.  IF YOU HAVE ANY BODYPARTS OUT OF WHACK GO SEE HIM.  MY FALL LAST YEAR PUT MY WHOLE BODY OUT.  THIS MORN I'M WALKING UP RIGHT.  MY LOWER BACK IS A LITTLE SORE BUT THINK THAT IS BECAUSE IT WAS IN SUCH A BAD SHAPE. HE TOLD ME NOT TOO START RIDING FOR A FEW DAYS.  AFTER 5 WKS A FEW DAYS DOESN'T SOUND BAD.  EVERYONE HAVE A GREAT DAY.  WARS ;D :D :)

Aut viam inveniam aut faciam - I will either find a way or make one.  "Can't lives on Won't street."

Let us be reminded of what Captain John Parker told his army at Lexington Green, the place where the War for Independence began in 1775. He said, “Stand your ground. Don’t fire unless fired upon, but if they mean to have a war, let it begin here.

I had my last jumping accident in '96.  My friend told me, "You need to stop this s... and go back to barrel racing!"  I sold my horse and my tack and bought a prospect.  Been at it ever since.  Don't plan to stop either.  My horse & I just have to take turns on the joint & back injections.

Finally got some exhibitions under my belt and feel really good about it!  My mare listened and worked for me, and this was probably her 4-5 time around the pattern.  We worked slow and probably didn't have much of a pocket but we are on the way to learning and having fun.  Did pole exhibitions also, and was really surprised how fast she picked this up.  Gonna go again tonight and try again.  Ya'll have a wonderful day.
