Benefit Brenda Rushton **Date Change to Sunday, February 23, 2014**

Date change due to weather Race now scheduled for Feb 23rd

Fellow Barrel Racers, One of ours is needing some help. This person has been very active in NBHA, Playdays, 4H, High School Rodeo too many others to list.

Becky Yeary and I are organizing a benefit for this person as she is always helping the kids, setting barrels or whatever is needed specially for the kids. Now is our time to say our THANK YOU for her kind heart and caring ways. She is self-employed and with a broken arm she is unable to work.

At this time we are looking at arenas for a benefit and a shooting range for a trap shoot. Of course both events not at the same place and day. LOL
The following have agreed to help but of course we need more volunteers:
Melanie Pytlik Ritter, Alice Holloway, Pam Green Denney, Joyce Allison, David Marr.
I will try to setup a FB page today and plan to name it: Benefit Brenda Rushton.

If you have any ideas for the benefits IE arenas, awards, etc. please do not hesitate to contact us.

**Update 01/06/14, Brenda is scheduled for surgery on Friday. The Ortho Dr. states it needs to be pinned.

Due to the current rainy weather and forecasted to be in the low 30's the rest of the week we are changing to the rain date of Sunday, February 23, 2014. The parking lot at PB Arena and Hog Mtn. will not be useable on the 9th. The 23rd is forecasted to be 68. Please spread the word to anyone interested.
