Let us be reminded of what Captain John Parker told his army at Lexington Green, the place where the War for Independence began in 1775. He said, “Stand your ground. Don’t fire unless fired upon, but if they mean to have a war, let it begin here.

Anybody else amazed at how this race turned out.  Mixed up timers on sunday and only notice after 100 horses went?

Seems they handled it well by totally revamping the payout.

I agree the solution was the only one that works, just unfortunate that it happened and took so long to figure it out.

I think its great they caught it and worked the problem out to everyones satisfaction.  Having produced a few, I know making mistakes during the shows is a nightmare for the producer and something that every producer DOES NOT WANT TO DO.  Kudos to them for coming up with a solution to the problem.  We all live and learn.

I think they handled a difficult situation very well. The timers have been set at the wrong place at that arena before. Fortunately at that time it was discovered early in the race and the position was merely maintained in the same place for the remainder of the weekend. This weekend was more difficult, but I think they did a great job.

I agree with Mel and Tamet.  They handled everything to the contestants satisfaction.  Even coming up with double buckles and saddle pads.  I think the only people that should be griping are those who have never made a mistake!  These guys did the best and fairest thing.  We are all human.

Sorry wasn't gripping, just asking a question.....That won't happen again.  Really thought this was an open forum with different views and opinions.

It is an open forum. You expressed your views and we expressed ours. Just because ours did not support your point of view does not mean that anyone was talking down to you. And I, for one, would prefer that you not try to make it appear that we were.

I agree with Mel.  No insult taken, none given.  Just expressing our feelings just as you did!  Everyone have a great day!  Albeit a hot one!
