You may enter when you get there. There are no late fees.
2. How do I pre-enter? How do I pay?
Pre-enter by printing off an entry form and mailing it with check or credit card information to PO Box 291, Joshua, TX 76058; or fax completed entry form between 8:00 am – 6:00 pm to 817-558-9364 with credit card info; email completed entry with credit card information to
[email protected].
3. Can I pre-enter exhibitions?
You may pre-enter exhibitions for slack but be ready at 7:45 am. You may also enter after slack exhibitions for the first hour which runs from 11:30-12:30 – be ready.
4 Dress Code?
Wear what is comfortable to you….Just be appropriate….No shorts during the class.
5. What is slack?
Slack is run before the actual race but is part of the actual race. Times are carried over from slack and all times are sorted by class entered. Youth may run in slack; please write on entry form if entry is a youth entry. Everything is still the same; just a different section. Slack is pre-entry only! Get entry in quick because slack is limited to 75 runners.
6. What is PH and NPH?
PH is referred to as point horse and NPH is non-point horse. This only affects members. BRAT allows members and non-members to run as many horses as wanted but members can only choose one horse to count points on. The point horse must be decided and written on your entry form before you run. If member fails to designate on entry form which is PH then member will receive lowest set of points.
7. Youth Age?
BRAT’s youth age is 15 & Under as of May 1st of current season. If you are 15 as of May 1st, 2014 you are eligible to run in the Youth class for the 2014-2015 season.
8. Member requirements?
Not a lot of requirements….you must attend 6 of the 12 races in order to be eligible for year-end awards.
BRAT awards Top 30 prizes in the Open and Top 15 in the Youth. No work requirements – we do love volunteers. Only requirement is to have fun! BRAT is always looking for great sponsors! We look forward to a new season! If you or someone you know is interested please get with a director. The reason BRAT has had such success is because of members and sponsors support.
