Horse with allergies
« on: July 15, 2015, 05:36:01 PM »
I had an allergy test done on my horse, and it came back that he's allergice to soy, beets and barley. Among many other things.
I've been feeding him Nutrena safe choice senior, which contains the indgredients that he's allergic to.
I'm looking for suggestions on what to feed? He's 11
TIA

AT THAT AGE HE DOESN'T NEED HIGH PROTEIN.  THAT IS REALLY LIMITING YOUR CHOICES BUT THERE IS SOMETHING OUT THERE.  JUST DON'T PUT HIM ON HIGH PROTEIN.  HAVE A GREAT DAY.   WARS ;) :)

Sounds good. That's pretty much what I feed except I don't feed the corn.
