Frog Gigging
« on: February 12, 2005, 10:55:10 AM »

I read a story in a news paper article about a police officer that had seen Delbert's truck going down the road suddenly swerve, then go off the road and crash into the brush. When the officer got to the truck there was Delbert holding his bleeding knee. On closer examantion the officer saw that it was a bullet hole . The officer asked Delbert what had happened and this is the story that Delbert told. Earlier that evening Delbert and a friend went frog gigging after being out for a while they decided they had all the frogs they could eat. Delbert jumped into the truck and when he went to turn on the head lights they didn't work. So Delbert got down in the floor board and found that it had blown a fuse. So Delbert looked through the truck and couldn't find a fuse, but he found a 22 bullet. So he tries it, and what'd ya' know it fit. So off they go, all of a sudden the bullet gets to hot and goes off hitting Delbert in the knee. That's when the officer saw them. The Officer said that Delbert didn't have a phone so he had to go to Delbert's house. When the officer told Delbert's wife what had happened all Delbert's wife said was "Did they get any frogs?"

Delbert's Tip Of The Week: Why is there a light in the fridge and not in the freezer?
Aut viam inveniam aut faciam - I will either find a way or make one.  "Can't lives on Won't street."

Let us be reminded of what Captain John Parker told his army at Lexington Green, the place where the War for Independence began in 1775. He said, “Stand your ground. Don’t fire unless fired upon, but if they mean to have a war, let it begin here.
