Tank Found
« on: March 08, 2005, 05:42:18 PM »
Hi Tamet,

I want to thank you very much for listing this for me. I've attached two
pictures of Tank that were taken in Fall of last year. I'm not sure which
one will show up the best and they are the only two that I can find.
Hopefully word will get around and Sherri will get her horse returned to
her. If there is any info I leave out that you can think of to add in there,

please let me know. Thank you so very much.

"On Sunday, March 6, Tank was being loaded into a 3horse slant trailer
without his leadrope on. He was spooked by something and backed out quickly,

taking off down the road. This happened in Conroe on the east side of Hwy 45

at Bo Wilburn's house. He lives on Pine Rd. off of FM 1314. Tank is running
around in a halter only. He stands a solid 15.3-16hh and lives up to his
name - he is a very big, stocky-built horse. Sorrel with only a few white
hairs on his forehead. Any information leading to his safe return or known
whereabouts would be greatly appreciated. You can contact Stephanie Symonds
at 817-223-6036, Sherri Rush at 979-575-0559 or 979-778-3990, or Bo Wilburn
at 936-271-4431. Emails can be sent to [email protected]. Thank
you!"

This came to me while chopping wood the other day. You've heard don't sweat the small stuff. I say save it for later and use it for kindling

Hi Tamet,

Tank was found early this morning in a pasture about 7 miles away. Thank you
so much for allowing us to post it under your top stories column. See ya at
the next race!

:()& :()& :()&  Please let me say on this note #1:  I'm really glad you found your horse.  That was a long time to go without him.  #2:  I had this same thing happen to me a few day's back, but thank goodness we finally caught him with the help of several good natured people.  My horse ran from a secluded fair ground across several miles of open field & across a main highway.  We don't know why he wasn't hit.  This should be a reminder to all of us , that no matter how bombproof we think our horses might be, we should always be extreemly careful when handeling them.  Again, congratulations on finding your horse.
