I just did   8)

Hi Tamet!  Thank you for asking about my Daddy!  I am
on my way to the hospital now.  Daddy is still holding
on in I C U.  We had a set back last Monday with high
fever, low blood pressure and lack of breathing.  Daddy
has pulled through that so far but has not been able to
get off of the ventilator.  The Doctors are still
encouraged, so our family is holding on to that.  He
still responds to me when I walk into the room and will
squeeze my hand when I ask him to.  I look forward to
your postings of each barrel race results, because
that's what I talk to him about because he has always
been soooo interested in all the races and all the
riders!

Thank you and thank everyone for me again for all of
the prayers and the emails.  It all means such a great
deal to our family.

Love, Joy Tamburro

Let us be reminded of what Captain John Parker told his army at Lexington Green, the place where the War for Independence began in 1775. He said, “Stand your ground. Don’t fire unless fired upon, but if they mean to have a war, let it begin here.

Joy just sent this today!    8)

Hi Tamet!  I just wanted to give you an update on my
Dad.  He has been moved out of I C U after 3 1/2 months
and is now on the 3rd floor of the hospital.  Great
news today, they are talking about his release within
the next 2 weeks.  All machines, tubes and oxygen have
been removed, the only thing left now is the small pump
that will keep his heart going until he receives a
heart transplant.  He asked for me to tell everyone
thank you for the continued prayers and to tell
everyone hello at the races.  Hopefully he will be seen
again in the stands very soon!  He is a living
testimony of the power of prayer!

Love and Thanks,

Joy Tamburro

Talked with Joy at Glen Rose this past weekend and her Dad has come home.  He is still on the transplant list but has come home.  She was so excited and it is such a miracle that he is able to do that.  Keep them in your prayers.

Got this from Joy yesterday:
I wanted to let you know that we had to re-admit
my Dad to the hospital today.  Please keep the prayers
going.

Thanks for everything!

I recieved this from Joy tonight after I got home from the barrel race.  Our prayers go out to them.

"It is with a very heavy heart that I type this message to everyone.  After a very long and courageous battle with heart complications, Daddy peacefully went to sleep and is now with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  Daddy had been released from Seton Medical Center in Austin, Tx. last Monday and was at his home where he wanted to be.

Our family wishes to thank everyone from the bottom of our heart for your many thoughts and prayers for Daddy.

Vistitation will be Thursday, October, 6th at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple, Tx. from 6pm-8pm.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 7th at the 1st Baptist Church in Troy, Texas at 2pm.

God Bless,

David, Joy, Chase, Chasity and Danni Tamburro"

God bless you all.  He was a true fighter and you can be so proud of his strength and his determination.  He is truly with God now.
Prayers for you all.
