OK everyone, we have now have the details on the Grand re-opening of the Diamond W Arena in Alvarado, TX. For those of you that have not met the new owner, Lisa McCool.....All I can say is WOW !! What a lady....I don't think we have every met anyone with the enthusiasm that she has for this 'Diamond in the Rough' facility. The transformation within the next several months is going to be unreal. We feel honored to be included in such an exciting part of this facilities history.
OK, now the details - First, everyone that pre-enters the race (both days) will receive a free BBQ meal compliments of Lisa and the Diamond W Arena. Second, Lisa is offering a Grand Opening Special on the Stalls and RV spaces. A two day stall rental, including one bag of shavings for only $15 and a two day RV rental for only $15. Need more shavings, you can purchase them from the arena or bring your own. Stalls are large with dirt floors.
Now for the race details - Friday, July 22nd $750 added beginning at 9 pm. Exhibitions will run from 5PM until 8:30PM. Saturday, July 23rd $1000 added, $40 entry fee. Exhibitions will run from 4pm until 7:30 PM. One time processing fee for the event is $10 and if applicable the late fee will only be $5 per contestant. But remember you must pre-enter both days for your free BBQ meal.
