This old farmer was sitting on his front porch soaking up the evening sun when a traveling salesman came walking up. There was a dog laying on the ground in front of the farmer so the salesman asked "does your dog bite?" The farmer quietly said "No, sir." The salesman walked a little closer and the dog started growling. Becoming a bit nervous the salesman again asked "Are you sure your dog does not bite?" The farmer took a deep breath and replied with "No, my dog does not bite." So, the salesman decided to venture up onto the porch. As he passed by the dog reached out and took a bite out of the salesman ankle. He jumped back shocked and said to the farmer "I thought you said your dog does not bite?" The farmer, with a smile on his face, relpies "Well sir, that is not my dog."
