Mt Vernon---rodeo arena on FM 115  NBHA TX17/ETBRA $1000 added 4D barrel race.  Exh 10am to 12pm. Pole exhs @12pm w/3D Pole class, Youth 4D, Senior 4D, and Open 4D to follow.  :yes:  Yep, it may be a little hot----having it during the day due to the Sheriff's Posse BBQ cookoff and such. 
There is some shade, and honestly, it's been being hotter at 5-6pm in the evenings than any other time of day.  (woohoo) Unfortunately, it's gonna be hot this time of year no matter what!  <CRYING>  Been lopin' mine at 6pm---104 the last 2 days!  :crazy:

Being NBHA/ETBRA how do the "non" member fees work?  Do you still pay them to NBHA or being co-approved are they waived?  Thanks!

Karrie, I am so sorry for not being there today. I generally support every function at Mt.Vernon I can, However hubby was not up to par today and didn't feel like running. I am of course out of commission myself on competing. I hope all goes well and it be a successful event. I am sure there will be a huge turnout and Mt.Vernon has some great people who will love to see the barrelrace.
 I really enjoyed getting to meet you in person, finally, last night. Hopefully we can get together more, you caught me in the midst of piggin out on those good Posse burgers <(> See ya around and I will be getting with you as soon as I can round up the tools to get those practices going.
