Updated Mary Greene passed away
« on: September 18, 2006, 09:22:08 AM »
Mary Greene has been moved from a hospital to a nursing home in Waco.  She will be receiving hospice care 24 hours a day.  Mary has battled three types of cancer over the last 19 years and she is a diabetic.  Please keep Mary and her husband Jim in your prayers.

May the Lord Bless her and keep her and may He shine His face upon her and her family.

Let us be reminded of what Captain John Parker told his army at Lexington Green, the place where the War for Independence began in 1775. He said, “Stand your ground. Don’t fire unless fired upon, but if they mean to have a war, let it begin here.

So sad to hear this.  Mary was the sweetest person I had ever met.   Jim and his family are in our prayers.

Miss Mary will be greatly missed!  It was a true blessing to have her as a very good friend for many years.  If anyone would like to make a donation in Mary's name to the cancer or diabetes foundations in lieu of flowers, Jim thought Mary would like that.  You can go to www.cancer.org or www.diabetes.org and make a donation as a memorial gift.  I believe a card will be sent to Jim.   I know that she is in heaven now and is finally pain free and healthy!  God Bless.
