I’m sure there are probably ways to teach your filly the pattern from the ground but it would be much better if you would just let her grow up and learn to be a horse while she is so young
WE HAVE A FEW ACRES AND WERE WONDERING WHAT THE DIMENSIONS OF A BARREL RACING TRACK IS.
On a standard WPRA pattern, the distances are as follows:scoreline to the first barrel – 60 ft1st barrel to the 2nd barrel – 90 ft2nd barrel to the 3rd barrel – 105 ft.
My daughter, is 9 years old. she is starting 4H this year. I need to know what the dimensions of the barrels are. So I can properly set them up for her to practice.
my grandmother is teaching me to barrel race and she cant remember how far the barrels are suppose to be from each other please write me back and let me know thank you
Many of you know my youngest son was born with Cerebral Palsy. I have done so much with him over the years though that has pushed him beyond what was projected that the label no longer fits him.
Currently, I have an 8yo QH Gelding. I have been working for the past two years. I had wanted to take our time and not pressure him and see what he had to offer.
My daughter is having trouble making her horse turn the first barrel good if she goes to it to fast. He does beautiful if she goes to it not as fast as she should.
I have a 6 year old barrel horse. He has developed a problem of when we go to turn the barrel he wants to shake and sling his head.
The key to successful barrel racing is being able to control your horse’s direction while asking for excess speed.
I don’t barrel race, but I do have a question I’m hoping you can answer. We have 3 3- year old Tennessee Walkers who were sent for “basic” training to a south Georgia location.
hi i have a 14 yr old barrel and pole horse she will do all of our playday events but i try not to use her on all well a month ago i decided i would go ahead and ride her on every thing but goats
>I have a 5 yr. old mare that when she gets to the second barrel changes leads in the front end but doen’t change the rear end until the back side of the barrel which is causing a hesitation.
When I do my exhibition runs he does good and I am staying the same speed. When I make my class run that is when he does it.
What to do about a horse that want let you shoe his back feet, he seems to be afraid of all horse shoer’s.
