he American Quarter Horse Association today announced the 2005 AQHA Racing Champions during a ceremony at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Oklahoma City. Hosted by American Quarter Horse expert Tom Dawson and TVG’s Dave Weaver, a packed house listened as the 12 horse categories, four horsemen categories, three divisional champions and the AQHA Racing World Champion were revealed. Following is a list of the champions, votes received, statistics and information on other vote-receiving nominees in each category.

January 18, 2006 – The 2005 AQHA Champion Racing American Quarter Horses and Horsemen will be announced this evening at 8 p.m. CST at the Embassy Suites in Oklahoma City. This precedes the Heritage Place Winter Mixed Sale that will take place Thursday through Saturday.
