Amarillo, Texas, February 10, 2006 – The American Quarter Horse Foundation is proud to announce that the 2005 Holiday Card program was a huge success. Thanks to the generous AQHA members who purchased the beautiful holiday cards, the Foundation earned more than $17,000 to apply toward its four program areas: scholarships, equine research, therapeutic riding and the Hall of Fame & Museum. More than 8,000 boxes of Foundation holiday cards were sold in 2005, which means more than 200,000 Foundation holiday cards were sent through the mail, helping spread the word about the Foundation’s incredible programs!
