Barrel Racing Loses an Icon Dr Nick Bar, The Ultimate Barrel Horse Sire, passed away on Monday morning May 1, 2006.  Owned by four-time National Finals Rodeo Qualifier, Fallon Taylor, “Nick” was loved by all. In his youth, Dr Nick Bar set the barrel racing world on fire running the fastest qualifying time his futurity year in Fort Smith.  Dr Nick Bar claimed victories on the pro rodeo circuit as well as AQHA shows, earning points there in heading, heeling and pole bending.
