2007 Youth World Show TO FEATURE NEW EVENTS

The American Quarter Horse Journal, July 19, 2007 – The American Quarter Horse Youth Association will crown the first champions in performance halter and ranch sorting as the new classes make their debut at the Ford AQHYA World Championship Show. The Ford Youth World will be held August 4-11 in Fort Worth, Texas. The show is the largest single-breed horse show in the world devoted exclusively to youth. Sprint Nextel, Clearwire plan nationwide WiMax network

Sprint Nextel is partnering with Clearwire, a broadband technology company, to build a nationwide WiMax network for cell phones, both companies announced Thursday. WiMax is a wireless technology that offers high rates of data transfer and a long transmission reach. The Sprint Nextel and Clearwire mobile WiMax network is set to have speeds comparable to wireline broadband, the type of Internet connectivity commonly accessed by cable lines.
