FORT WORTH, TEXAS—Chuck Stuart of Tuttle, Okla., was recently recognized by the American Paint Horse Association (APHA) for being the second Ride America® participant to reach the 10,000-hour level in that program’s history. The recreational riding initiative recognizes APHA members’ independent riding time on their American Paint Horses. The respiratory coronavirus was recently identified as causing disease outbreaks in dogs in Florida shelters. The parvovirus type 2c was first identified in the United States as the cause of parvoviral enteritis outbreaks in 2006 and 2007 in Arizona, California, Georgia, Oklahoma, and Texas.
