America’s Horse, July 30, 2008 – The American Quarter Horse Foundation is proud to announce the 2008 America’s Horse Cares grant recipients. America’s Horse Cares is a program of the Foundation that funds therapeutic riding centers. In order to receive funding through America’s Horse Cares, the center must be certified as a North American Riding for the Handicapped Association-approved facility or have at least one NARHA certified instructor on staff.  Each applicant center is scored based upon their financial need, services available, horse care, project scope and budget.  The centers receiving funding were selected from 130 applicants by a group of experienced
