Hartz Mountain recalls Chicken-Basted Rawhide Chips

The Hartz Mountain Corporation, Secaucus, NJ is voluntarily recalling one specific lot of Hartz Chicken-Basted Rawhide Chips due to concerns that one or more bags within the lot are potentially contaminated with Salmonella. The product involved is 4,850 – 2 pound plastic bags of Hartz Chicken-Basted Rawhide Chips, lot code JC23282, UPC number 3270096463 which were distributed to a national retail customer. AQHA World Show Entries Increase by 5 Percent

AQHA’s World Championship Show celebrates its 33rd year in Oklahoma City.  The American Quarter Horse Journal, October 27, 2008 – For 16 days in November, Oklahoma City’s horse population swells with the top competition from around the world converging on the city to compete at the American Quarter Horse Association’s Bank of America Amateur and FedEx Open World Championship Show.
