Todd Flettrich Earns a Spot on the US Dressage Team for the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games

Wellington, FL – August 18, 2010 -Todd Flettrich and his grand prix mount Otto were recently named to the United States Dressage Team that will compete this fall at the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™ (WEG). Following a fantastic two weekends of competition at the Collecting Gaits Farm/USEF Dressage Festival of Champions, Flettrich and Otto finished in second place in the grand prix championships, which were also held as the Team’s final Selection Trials. Va agriculture department confirms years 1st equine encephalitis case

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Virginia has recorded its first case of Eastern Equine Encephalitis in 2010. The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services said Monday that it confirmed an 18-month-old female mustang from Suffolk had the disease. The horse was euthanized July 26. Read more…

RI man found to have equine encephalitis

BOSTON (AP) – Public health officials in Massachusetts and Rhode Island have announced this summer’s first case of eastern equine encephalitis in a person. Citing privacy, officials identified him Sunday only as a Rhode Island man in his 20s from Newport County. He is in critical condition. Read more…
