Texas Judge rules non-vets can do dental care on horses

AUSTIN — A three-year legal fight over who can take care of horse teeth has ended. An attorney representing Texas horse dentists said Wednesday that an Austin judge has ruled that the Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners violated state law when it changed its policy to prohibit anyone but licensed veterinarians from giving horses dental care.
