4 Horses tested positive for the West Nile virus

It is being reported that a horse in Hall County has tested positive for the West Nile virus.

This is the 4th horse in the state of Nebraska to be diagnosed with the virus in the last 4 weeks, prompting Nebraska Agriculture Director Greg Ibach to encourage all horse owners to consult their veterinarians.

Custer, Dodge, and Scotts Bluff counties were where the other cases of the virus were identified in horses.
