American Paint Horse Association partners with Polylast Systems, LLC

FORT WORTH, Texas – The American Paint Horse Association is pleased to announce Polylast Systems, LLC, as a new Affinity Partner. Polylast becomes the latest company to team up with the association as part of its APHA Xtras program—a benefits program offering savings and discounts to APHA members on a variety of products and services.

The new partnership allows APHA members to enjoy a 10 percent discount on an assortment of equine-related Polylast “Comfort & Safety” (C&S) flooring applications including trailers; equine aisle ways; patios; clubhouses; wash rack and saddling areas; tack; feed and equipment rooms; stalls; tie pads and hot walker flooring installation.

“All of us associated with Polylast consider the opportunity to work with APHA an honor and a privilege,” Polylast founder and owner Pete Laurence said. “We look forward to serving APHA members and helping to enhance their equine operations. For more than five years, Polylast has helped horse owners and facility managers save money while enhancing their facilities and improving the safety and performance of their animals. Now, with the addition of Microban antimicrobial to all equine surfaces, a new level of value has been added. Surfaces are easier to clean, odors are reduced and, most importantly, there is a never-before available enhanced pathogen resistance infused throughout Polylast surfaces which is active for the life of the product.”

Todd Gralla, an APHA member and Director of Equestrian Services for Populous, an architectural firm specializing in equestrian facilities, was first introduced to Polylast during the renovation and expansion of Westworld, a premier equestrian facility in Scottsdale, Arizona.

“After thorough investigation and testing of Polylast, I realized what we had was a game changer,” said Gralla. “Polylast is not only a safe and durable material but is also very beautiful.”

Polylast C&S floors are a progressive flooring system made entirely from a patented, processed, recycled rubber with US-produced primers, binders and surface finishing. This equine-specific product ensures a safe and more comfortable trailer environment for your horse that aids in better performance after long hauls, among many other uses.

Benefits of Polylast C&S flooring include the antimicrobial advantages plus slip-resistant, permanently affixed floors that provide trailer floor protection and eliminate the need for shavings — that can save you money, create cleaner air for horses and allow more efficient, post-trip cleanup for owners.

“We are excited to offer this unique, new benefit to our members,” APHA Executive Director Billy Smith said. “Later this year, we will release even more exciting news about how folks can be entered to win their very own Polylast application, so stay tuned.”
