YouTube Video Highlights Museum and Opening Events

America’s Horse, June 8, 2007/ – The American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame & Museum opens its doors to the public Saturday, June 9, in Amarillo. The grand opening includes numerous events for people of all ages.

The museum is showcased on YouTube at /http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJTytut58dk. /AQHA Executive Vice President Bill Brewer comments on the newly renovated museum and what visitors can expect to see and experience.

The Hall of Fame & Museum will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with free admission. Besides viewing the newly renovated museum, visitors can take part in other activities such as book signings and a junior ranch rodeo.

Phil Livingston and Jim Morris will be available from noon until 2 p.m. to sign their book “The Driftwood.” From 2-4 p.m., Jim Jennings will be signing his book “Best Remudas.”

A junior ranch rodeo will provide outdoor entertainment from 2-4 p.m. It takes place in the Justin Arena, located next to the museum.

Free sausage wraps and drinks will be provided from 1-2:30 p.m. or until they are gone, and Two Bits will make an appearance from noon to 3 p.m.
