South Dakota beef would be exempt from Senate proposal…
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) – State veterinarian Sam Holland says part of the Senate’s version of the farm bill that could keep the public from getting information about animal identification won’t affect the South Dakota Certified Beef program.
The proposal says the U.S. agriculture secretary is the only one who can release National Animal Identification System information.
